Every education tool, organized the way classrooms use them

The list starts with the weekly workhorses (printable practice and puzzle makers), moves through the classroom utilities teachers project every day, and finishes with a seven-tool interactive series that teaches how AI and statistics actually work.

  1. 1

    Math Worksheet GeneratorMost used

Unlimited printable math drill sheets with automatic answer keys.

Pick the operations, the number range, and whether regrouping should appear, and print a fresh worksheet with its answer key. "No regrouping" genuinely means none, verified digit by digit, so the sheet matches what you taught this week. Grade presets cover 1 through 4, division can come out even or with remainders, and the "New problems" button means the student who copied a sibling's answers is out of luck.

    Crossword Puzzle MakerMost used

Words plus clues in, a real interlocking crossword out, with a printable answer key.

The step up from a word search: students have to know the material, not just spot it. Enter terms and clues and the layout engine weaves them into a proper interlocking crossword with standard numbering. Export a print-ready PDF with the answer key as its own page, and the print version never leaks answers. Definitions, historical figures, science vocabulary: if it has a clue, it works.

    Word Search BuilderMost used

Your vocabulary list becomes a word search: play it on screen or print the PDF.

Type this week's words and get a puzzle students genuinely enjoy. Play it in the browser with drag-to-find and a timer, or download a printable PDF with the answer key on a separate page. Difficulty controls (diagonals, reversed words, grid size) let the same list serve second grade and eighth. Themed word packs are there for the days you need an activity in ninety seconds.

    Bingo Card Generator

Your word list becomes a class set of unique printable bingo cards.

Review games that feel like games. Enter vocabulary terms, math facts, sight words, or anything else, and generate a whole class set where every card is different. Print, hand out, and call terms while students hunt their boards. Works just as well for baby showers and holiday parties, but it earns its keep during test review week.

    Printable Flashcard Maker

Type cards or load Dolch, Fry, and multiplication presets; print cut-out, duplex, or fold-over.

Paper flashcards survive because flipping a card is active recall. Type front and back per line or one-click a sight-word or multiplication set, then choose the layout: cut-out fronts, true double-sided with each backs row mirrored so duplex printing lines up, or self-checking fold-over cards for printers that cannot duplex.

    Maze Generator

One click makes a fresh printable maze; download a PNG or a whole PDF pack with answer keys.

Pick Easy through Expert (or an exact grid), choose Winding for long corridors or Branchy for extra dead ends, and every Generate builds a new perfect maze with exactly one route from the green start to the red finish. Reveal the solution with a toggle, print a single page, or build a PDF of up to 24 all-different mazes with an optional answer-key section, which is what teachers and parents actually want. Handwriting Practice Sheets

Tracing worksheets on real three-line ruling: A-Z, numbers, or any name you type.

The dashed midline is what teaches a child where letters live, and these sheets reproduce it properly at three line sizes. Trace mode fills each line with light gray text to write over; copy mode leaves room for independent tries. The classic first worksheet, a child’s own name, prints in seconds and never leaves your device.

    Mad Libs Maker

Fill in silly words to build a surprise story, then print a classroom worksheet or share a story image.

Pick one of ten built-in stories, fill in the requested parts of speech without peeking, and reveal a story where your words are highlighted in the finished tale. Write your own version with one-click noun, verb, and adjective blanks, and your custom stories stay saved in your browser. Download a printable PDF worksheet with a numbered word bank labeled by part of speech and the story with numbered blanks, or make a colorful story image that phones can save straight to Photos. It teaches grammar while everyone laughs, works solo or as a group, and needs no account.

    Coloring Page Maker

Any photo becomes a printable coloring page with adjustable line detail.

Indoor recess, quiet time, and the last day before break all need the same thing: something calm to color. Turn the class pet, a field trip photo, or anything else into clean line art, tune the detail and line thickness with a live preview, and print a full sheet. Personalized coloring pages hold attention far longer than generic ones.

    Fill-in-the-Blank Worksheet Maker

Paste any passage, click the words to blank, print with a word bank and answer key.

The cloze worksheet, minus the busywork: every word in your pasted passage becomes clickable, a suggest button applies the classic every-seventh-word construction, and the printout arrives with numbered blanks, an alphabetized word bank, and the answer key on its own page. Textbook passages you paste never touch a server.

    Online Timer & Stopwatch

Big, clean countdown digits that read from the back row of the classroom.

"You have ten minutes" only works when everyone can see the ten minutes. Project the countdown with digits sized for the back row, use quick presets for common intervals, and let the alarm end the debate about whether time is up. The stopwatch side handles relay races, timed reads, and anything else the day throws at you.

    Flyer Maker

Class announcements, club sign-ups, and school event flyers with built-in logo and QR spots.

Tutoring services, music lessons, club fairs, bake sales, back-to-school nights: the Class template (and seven others) gives you a designed starting point where every word is editable and everything drags. Add the school logo, paste a sign-up link to generate a QR code students and parents can scan, and print a stack on the office printer with the exact-size 8.5 by 11 PDF. Seating Chart Generator

Auto-arrange seating with groups kept together, then drag to fine-tune.

Built for wedding planners, adopted by teachers, because the problem is identical: put people at tables without drama. One-click auto-arrange keeps designated groups together (or apart), then drag individuals to handle the special cases every roster has. Group colors, table names, and search keep a big class manageable. The roster never leaves your machine.

    Pomodoro Timer

25-minute focus sessions with breaks, cycle tracking, and daily stats.

The study technique that actually survives contact with a teenager: work for 25 minutes, break for 5, repeat. The timer keeps honest wall-clock time even in a background tab, chimes differently for work and break, and tracks how many focused sessions the day really contained. Ideal for homework, exam prep, and adults who claim they will just check one email.

    Curriculum Planner

Turn lesson details into a printable curriculum students can actually read.

Structure a course into units and lessons, each with an objective, activities, materials, and an assessment, and the shareable document assembles itself live as you type. Units get emoji and colors that carry into the print, four templates set the tone from playful Chalkboard to formal Academic, and a counter totals your units, lessons, and days. Print it, save it as a PDF for your classroom platform, or copy a clean text outline for the syllabus email. Citation Generator

Correct APA, MLA, Chicago, and Harvard citations with live preview and a Word-ready bibliography.

The big citation sites bury the formatting under ads, popups, and account walls. This one just formats: pick a style and source type, fill the fields, and the reference builds itself with the right italics and punctuation alongside its in-text form. Your bibliography alphabetizes itself, pastes into Word with formatting intact, and switching styles reformats the whole list instantly.

    Typing Speed Test

Words per minute and accuracy, with a downloadable certificate of achievement.

The classic keyboarding class exercise, no accounts and no ads between attempts. Students test their speed and accuracy, watch their words per minute climb over the term, and download a certificate when they hit their goal. The certificate is a surprisingly effective motivator for a certain kind of ten-year-old, and for a certain kind of adult too.

Paste a speech, a chapter, or every student's one-word answer to a prompt, and the vocabulary organizes itself by frequency in front of the class. What did the author emphasize? What did the class collectively say? The picture starts the discussion by itself. Customizable colors and layouts make it poster-worthy too.

    Family Tree Maker

The classic school project, minus the poster board: build, print, and hand in.

Students chart three generations with one-click relatives and the layout draws itself, leaving the thinking time for the family interviews. Each person's card holds dates, birthplaces, occupations, and notes; the finished chart prints cleanly or exports as a vector PDF, and the CSV export doubles as a tidy dataset for a spreadsheet lesson. Family information stays on the student's device, which matters when the assignment is literally a minor's family data.

    Scientific Calculator

A full scientific calculator in the browser: trig, logs, exponents, and history.

For the student whose calculator is always in the other backpack. Trig functions, logarithms, exponents, memory, and a running history of the work, in any browser on any device. It will not get a student through a calculator-free exam, but it gets homework done at the kitchen table without a forty-dollar purchase.

    GPA & Final Grade Calculator

GPA on the 4.0 scale, weighted Honors and AP, and "what do I need on the final?"

The question every student asks in December and May, answered honestly. Calculate semester GPA with weighted Honors and AP courses handled correctly, track cumulative GPA across terms, and use the final-grade tab to find exactly what score gets the grade you want, including the times the honest answer is "it is already locked in, relax." Chore Chart Maker

A printable weekly chore chart with fair rotation, day toggles, and optional allowance totals.

Kids do jobs they can see, on days they expect them, with a box to check when done. Add the people and the chores, pick the days each applies, and print a colorful checkbox grid for the fridge. Chores can belong to one child, everyone, or rotate day by day so nobody is stuck with the trash forever, and allowance values total what each child can earn per week. Guitar Tuner

Mic tuning with a cents needle, 8 tunings from drop D to ukulele, and reference tones for tuning by ear.

Pluck a string and a steady, median-smoothed needle shows how many cents off you are; hold the green zone and the string gets a check mark. The autocorrelation detector resolves to about a cent from a bass low E up past a violin E string, the nearest string lights up automatically, A4 is adjustable for 442 orchestras, and every string button plays a Karplus-Strong pluck for tuning by ear. Online Metronome

Rock-solid timing scheduled on the audio clock, with tap tempo, accents, and a speed trainer.

Most web metronomes fire clicks from page timers that wobble under load; this one schedules every click ahead of time on the Web Audio clock, so the beat is sample-steady from 30 to 260 BPM. Tap the tempo in, set 1 to 12 beats with clickable accent or silent dots, subdivide to triplets or sixteenths, then let the speed trainer raise the tempo automatically or use gap practice, which mutes bars to test your internal clock. Settings persist and the page works offline.

    Name Selector

The spinning wheel that picks who reads next, with confetti and zero arguments.

Paste the roster once and let the wheel decide who answers, who presents first, and who feeds the class fish. Sound, confetti, a draw history so nobody gets picked twice unfairly, and an elimination mode for choosing several students in a row. The names live in your browser, not on a server, which matters when the list is your class roster.

    Pixel Art Maker

Draw pixel art with curated palettes and templates, then export a framed share card or a crisp PNG.

Eight hand-picked palettes keep every pixel in harmony, mirror mode paints both halves at once, and ten starter sprites (the heart, the ghost, the mushroom) give you something to restyle on day one. The share card export frames your art on a color-matched 1080x1080 square with a caption, sized for any feed, and the plain PNG comes out at 1024px with hard pixel edges and optional transparency. Paste names, get fair random groups by team count or team size.

Group projects without the social minefield of letting them choose. Paste the roster, pick how many teams or how big each one should be, decide what happens with leftover students, and get an arrangement nobody can argue with because nobody chose it. Copy the result to the board or download it. Reshuffle takes one click when the first draw puts the wrong pair together.

    Reading List Tracker

To-read, reading, and finished shelves with dates, ratings, and export.

A reading log that does not involve a crumpled paper chart. Books move across three shelves as they are started and finished, with dates recorded automatically and star ratings at the end. Export and import mean a semester of reading can be handed in as a file or moved between devices. Works for a student's log, a class challenge, or your own stack of good intentions.

Use four numbers and the four operations to hit a target, then print a worksheet and answer sheet.

Tap a number, an operator, and a second number to combine them, and keep going until one card equals the target (24 by default, or set your own). An exact fraction solver validates every puzzle and writes the answer key, so nothing is ever unsolvable and the answers are always right, even through fractions. LLM Next-Word PlaygroundAI series

How ChatGPT works, shown live: train a tiny word predictor and watch it guess.

The best answer to "how does ChatGPT actually work?" is to let students train a miniature version themselves. Paste any text, watch live probability bars for the next word, click to choose words or let it auto-write, and drag the temperature slider that turns careful prose into chaos. The hallucination lesson lands by itself: the model confidently predicts words with no idea what any of them mean.

For statistics courses proper: pick normal, uniform, exponential, Poisson, gamma, beta, Weibull, Pareto, or twenty more, set the parameters, and watch random samples pile up into the theoretical shape. Bayes' Theorem VisualizerAI series

You tested positive. What are the real odds? 1,000 people show the answer.

The statistics lesson with the biggest real-life payoff. A disease affects 1 in 100; the test is 90% accurate; you test positive. Most people (including most doctors in published studies) guess near 90%. The grid of 1,000 people shows the real answer is about 9%, because false alarms from the healthy majority swamp the true cases. Sliders for base rate, sensitivity, and specificity turn the paradox into an experiment.

    Decision Tree VisualizerAI series

A real decision tree grows on live data: the questions and the map, side by side.

The most explainable model in machine learning is a stack of yes/no questions, and here students watch one learn: the flowchart of questions on one side, the rectangular regions they carve on the other. A depth slider connects straight back to the overfitting lesson, and a noise slider shows the tree lovingly memorizing mistakes.

    Gradient Descent VisualizerAI series

How models learn: a ball rolls downhill while you control the learning rate.

Every neural network learns by the process on this screen: roll downhill on an error landscape, step by step. Set the learning rate too high and watch it overshoot and explode; too low and it crawls forever; get stuck in a small dip and discover why momentum exists. Four landscapes and a live loss curve make the abstractions concrete.

    ML Performance MetricsAI series

What accuracy, precision, and recall actually mean, with live simulations.

"The model is 96% accurate" sounds great until you learn it catches 6% of the cases that matter. Pick classification, regression, or clustering, choose a metric, and play with an interactive simulation while a plain-language card explains how to read it and where it fools people. ML Overfitting SimulatorAI series

Watch a model memorize instead of learn, and watch it fail on new data.

The most important idea in machine learning, live: crank up model complexity and training error falls toward zero while test error climbs, because the model is memorizing noise instead of learning the pattern. Control the data size, the noise, and the complexity, and watch the classic U-shaped curve emerge from your own experiment.

Chain them together

One vocabulary list or one roster can power half a week. These are the combinations teachers run most.

πŸ“š One word list, three activities

Type this week's vocabulary once. Monday it is a word search, Wednesday a crossword with definitions as clues, Friday a bingo review game. Same list, three different kinds of thinking.

🎲 The fair classroom kit

The wheel picks who answers, the generator builds the project groups, and the projected timer ends the arguments about time. Paste the roster once; it never leaves the device.

πŸ“ The substitute folder

Ten minutes once a month: print a few math worksheets with keys, a word search, and a coloring page. The emergency plans stay stocked and the sub has a real lesson, not a movie.

πŸ€– The AI literacy unit

Three lessons that turn "AI is magic" into "AI is math I have played with": how ChatGPT predicts words, why models memorize instead of learn, and why a 96% accurate model can still be useless.

Questions teachers ask before trusting a classroom site

Is student data uploaded anywhere?
No. Every tool runs entirely in the browser. When you paste a class roster into the team generator or the name wheel, those names are processed on your device and never travel over the network. There is no student database on our end because nothing ever arrives here. You can verify it yourself: open your browser's network tab and watch.
Are these tools free for teachers and schools?
All 39 tools are free to use with no sign-up, and the only branding is a small credit line on some printables. There is no school license to buy because there is nothing to license. The site offers an optional premium plan that adds extra features on some tools and guarantees unlimited use, and that is the entire business model.
Do students need accounts?
No accounts for anyone. Students open any tool directly from a link, which also means no passwords to manage, no sign-up emails, and no parental consent paperwork for yet another platform.
Do the printable tools include answer keys?
Yes. The math worksheet generator, word search builder, and crossword maker all produce answer keys on their own separate page, so the key stays at your desk and off the copier.
Do the tools work on school Chromebooks and projectors?
Yes. Everything is a normal web page, so it runs on Chromebooks, iPads, and anything with a browser, with nothing to install and no admin rights needed. The timer, name wheel, and word cloud are designed to be projected.
What is the AI literacy series?
Seven interactive simulations (numbers 19 through 25 on this page) that teach how AI and statistics actually work, in plain language with zero math prerequisites: how ChatGPT predicts words, why models overfit, what accuracy really means, how decision trees decide, how models learn, why test results mislead people, and what distributions look like. Each is a live experiment, not a video.
How is this different from Teachers Pay Teachers or Kahoot?
These are generators, not marketplaces or platforms. Instead of buying someone's fixed worksheet, you generate unlimited fresh ones tuned to your class, free. And because there are no student accounts, there are no ads shown to kids and no data collected about anyone.
Do the tools work offline?
Mostly, yes. Once a tool's page has loaded, the code is on your device, so most tools keep working when the school Wi-Fi drops, which it will, during the observation lesson.
✨ 200+ more free tools
