About the Name Selector

The Name Selector is a Wheel of Fortune-style picker for choosing a random name (or item) from any list you paste in. Add participants one per line or as a comma-separated list, hit Spin, and watch the wheel land on a winner with a satisfying tick-tick-tick.

Everything lives in your browser — your list is auto-saved locally so it survives reloads, but it is never uploaded anywhere.

What you can control

• Paste names one per line OR comma-separated — both work
• Add, shuffle, deduplicate, or clear the list with one click
• Load a built-in example list to try things out
• Spin vs. Quick Spin (instant pick) when you're in a hurry
• Export the current list as a text file for re-use later
• Names auto-persist to this browser between visits
