About the Timeline Generator

The Timeline Generator turns a list of dated events into a clean, shareable visual timeline. Add each event with its date, time, title, and description, then export the result as a high-resolution PNG or print-ready PDF. Great for trip itineraries, event run-of-show schedules, and project milestones where seeing the shape of the day matters more than reading bullet points.

Everything happens in your browser — your events never leave your device, and the PNG/PDF is generated locally with html2canvas and jsPDF.

What you can control

• Add as many events as you need, each with date, time, title, and description
• Events auto-group by day with a per-day horizontal time track
• Drag events to reorder or move them between days
• Edit a timeline title and subtitle for the export header
• Download a high-resolution PNG you can drop into messaging apps or slide decks
• Download a print-ready PDF for itineraries you want on paper

Tips

• Use the 15-minute time picker for precise timing — flights and reservations rarely land on the hour
• Keep titles short ("Flight UA 234") and put the booking number or address in the description
• Export the PNG once for messaging and the PDF once for printing — they're tuned for different output sizes
• For multi-day trips, the timeline auto-stacks each day vertically — readers scan top-to-bottom by date, left-to-right by time

For travel groups, share the PNG in your group chat the night before — it gives everyone the next day's plan without anyone having to dig through email threads.
