About the Photo Collage Maker
Photo Collage Maker turns a stack of photos into a single polished image. Pick a layout, drop pictures into cells, fine-tune spacing, borders, and per-photo crops, then export a high-resolution PNG or JPG sized for Instagram, print, or anywhere else.
Everything happens inside your browser. Your photos are never uploaded, never queued on a server, and never logged. Close the tab and they're gone — safe for family albums, client previews, product layouts, or anything else you'd rather not hand to a third party.
What you can build
- Layout picker: Choose from a gallery of grid layouts — 2-up, 3-up, 4-up, asymmetric splits, and more. Click any cell on the canvas to focus and edit it.
- Canvas presets: Instagram Square (1080×1080), Portrait (1080×1350), Story (1080×1920), Landscape 16:9 (1920×1080), classic Photo 3:2 / 4:3, Letter Portrait/Landscape at 300dpi for print, or any custom size up to 6000×6000.
- Background color: Any color picker value — white, black, brand color, or anything in between.
- Spacing & padding: Independent sliders for gap between photos (0–60px) and outer canvas padding (0–120px).
- Corner radius: Round off photo corners up to 80px for a softer look.
- Per-photo filters: Black & White, Sepia, Vivid, Fade, Cool, Warm, High Contrast — applied to each cell individually.
- Per-photo zoom & crop: Zoom 1×–3×, rotate 90/180/270°, flip horizontally or vertically, reset to original, or clear the cell.
- Auto-fill: One click drops your uploaded photos into empty cells in order.
- High-res export: Download as PNG (best quality, supports transparency) or JPG (smaller file size).

Tips for the best results
- Pick the canvas preset for where the final image will live — square for Instagram feed, 9:16 portrait for Stories, 16:9 for blog headers, Letter for print.
- Keep spacing at 8–16px for a modern, breathable look. Go to 0 for a flush, magazine-style mosaic.
- Match background color to your brand or to the dominant tone in the photos so the layout feels intentional.
- Use the same filter (e.g., B&W or Vivid) across every cell to unify wildly different source photos.
- Zoom and reposition each photo so the subject sits in the visible portion of the cell — wide shots often need a 1.2–1.5× zoom.
- For print, pick a Letter preset and export PNG. The 300dpi sizing keeps things sharp on physical paper.
- For social, JPG keeps file sizes lean. For overlays or anything with transparency, use PNG.
No accounts, no watermarks, no upload queue — just drop, arrange, and download. Layouts are mix-and-match; nothing's locked in until you hit export.
Common questions
How do I make a photo collage for free?
Pick a layout, drop your photos into the frames, fine-tune each one's zoom and position, and export. Seventeen layouts cover grids, strips, and feature arrangements, with spacing and border controls to finish the look.
Can I make a collage for Instagram or printing?
Yes: export sizes cover square posts, stories, and print-friendly dimensions, at high resolution so the collage stays sharp on a feed or on paper.
Can I adjust each photo inside its frame?
Yes. Zoom and pan every photo independently so faces land centered and horizons level, plus filters when the set needs a unified look.
Will the collage have a watermark?
No watermark, no corner logo. The memories are yours, and so is the image.
Are my photos uploaded while making a collage?
No. The collage is assembled in your browser, so family photos stay on your device from drop to download.
