Everyone has hit this: a scan comes out sideways, a phone photo lands in a PDF upside down, or one landscape chart sits wrong in a portrait report. You rotate it in your PDF viewer, it looks fine, you close the file, and next time it opens sideways again. That is because the rotate button in Adobe Reader, Preview, and Chrome only turns your view; it never touches the file. This tool does the permanent version: it writes the rotation into the PDF itself, so the document opens the right way up in every reader, on every device, for everyone you send it to.
A PDF page carries an internal rotation setting that every reader obeys. Viewers ignore it when you use their rotate button, which is why your fix evaporates. This tool changes that setting on each page you rotate and saves a new copy of the file, named after your original with "-rotated" added. Text stays selectable, links keep working, and nothing is re-rendered or recompressed, so quality is untouched.
The whole job runs in your browser. The PDF you load is never uploaded, which matters because the documents that most often need straightening are scans: contracts, IDs, bank statements, medical paperwork. Close the tab and the file is gone from this tool entirely. There is no account, no watermark, and no page limit.
