Tips for cleaner cuts

• Use the playhead-to-timecode buttons — typing exact timestamps is much faster than dragging
• For MP4 output, keep fast-start enabled so the file streams immediately on the web
• If the cut needs to land on a keyframe, scrub forward a frame or two — most encoders re-key on the closest one
• Save the trimmed clip with a distinct name so you don't accidentally overwrite the original
