About the PDF Watermarker

A watermark is how a document tells a reader "this is a draft," "this is confidential," "do not redistribute," or "the property of this person." Without one, anyone forwarding your file can pass it on as their own work, or pretend they received an approved version when they only received a draft. The Watermarker stamps customizable text across every page of a PDF in a few seconds, with full control over position, color, size, and how visible the mark should be.

What you can customize

Text. Anything you want. CONFIDENTIAL, DRAFT, your company name, a URL, a "Property of" line, even a date or version number.
Position. Center, diagonal, top, bottom, or fully tiled across the page (the strongest visual deterrent against cropping or screenshotting).
Font size. From 8 points all the way up to 200 points for an unmistakable cover stamp.
Color. Any color via the picker. The default red works for most warning-style labels, but a soft gray works well for unobtrusive branding.
Opacity. A 0 to 100 percent slider, so the watermark can be a barely-there ghost or a clear, obvious stamp.
