About the PDF Form Filler

Some PDFs are interactive forms with real fields; many are just scans or exported documents with lines you're "supposed" to print and fill by hand. This tool handles both. Drop a PDF and, if it has form fields, type straight into them on the page. If it doesn't, switch on Add text and click anywhere to drop text exactly where you need it. Then flatten and download a finished PDF.

Everything runs on your device. Your document is never uploaded, never stored on a server, and never logged — which matters for the contracts, applications, tax forms, and agreements people fill out most.

What you can do

• Fill real form fields. Text boxes, checkboxes, radio buttons, and dropdowns are detected and made editable right where they sit on the page.
• Type on any PDF. For non-fillable documents, place text anywhere with adjustable size and color, and drag it into position.
• Flatten. Bake your entries into the page so the result looks identical everywhere and can't be edited or accidentally cleared.
• Download. Save the completed PDF — no watermark, no account.

How to use it

• Drop your PDF. Fillable fields appear with a subtle teal outline — click and type.
• To add your own text, click Add text, then click the spot on the page; type, and drag the handle to nudge it. Set size and color first to apply them to new text.
• Leave Flatten on for a final, locked document; turn it off if you want the fields to stay editable later.
• Click Download filled PDF.

Notes

• Filling and flattening happen with the open-source pdf-lib library; pages are rendered for preview with PDF.js. Both run entirely in your browser.
• Digitally signed PDFs may invalidate their signature once edited or flattened — that's expected behavior for any change to a signed document.
• Very large or unusually complex forms (especially XFA-based government forms) may not expose every field; in those cases the Add text tool is a reliable fallback.
