A Weekly Meal Planner That Writes the Grocery List For You

The hard part of meal planning is not the planning, it is the Sunday-afternoon archaeology of turning seven dinners into one shopping trip. This planner does that part automatically: every meal carries its ingredients, so the moment you drop "Tacos" on Tuesday and "Chili" on Thursday, the ground beef shows up on the grocery list once, marked x2, filed under Meat & Seafood, right where you will find it in the store.

Start with the built-in library of 45+ familiar meals, or add your own with their ingredient lists. Blank week and no inspiration? Auto-fill fills every empty slot and will not serve you the same dinner twice. Plan next week while this one is still running, print the plan for the fridge and the checklist for the store, or save the week as an image on your phone.

Common questions

How do I make a weekly meal plan?

Click any slot on the grid and type a meal or pick one of the suggestions. The Auto-fill button plans any empty slots for you from the meal library, avoiding repeated dinners. Arrows at the top let you plan next week while this one is still in progress, and every change saves automatically in your browser.

Does the meal planner make a grocery list automatically?

Yes, that is the whole point. Library meals carry their ingredients, so the list assembles itself from your week: duplicates merge with a count, and everything is grouped by store section so you walk the aisles once. Check items off as you shop, add extras by hand, print it, or copy it as text into any notes app.

Can I print the meal plan or put it on my phone?

Both. Print plan gives you a landscape sheet for the fridge; Print grocery list gives you a portrait checklist with tick boxes. On a phone, Download as image renders the week as a picture, and the Save to Photos button puts it straight in your camera roll for the store.

Is the meal planner free with no account?

Yes. Planning, the library, the automatic grocery list, printing, and image export are all free with no sign-up, and your plan never leaves your device. Cloud backup across devices is the one optional extra, included with Premium.

Can I add my own meals and recipes?

Yes. Give a meal a name, pick which mealtime it belongs to, and list its ingredients separated by commas. It then shows up in slot suggestions, feeds the grocery list, and is eligible for Auto-fill. Meals you type directly into a slot work too, and you can attach ingredients to them later by clicking the chip.
