Some tools offer Premium members an optional cloud backup that syncs that tool's saved work to your account so you can continue on another device. Backup is off by default and only activates after you explicitly turn it on and confirm a consent dialog that describes exactly what will be stored. When enabled, we store that tool's saved work in our database, linked to your account. Depending on the tool, this can include text you typed into the tool (for example, notes in the Online Notepad, budget entries in the Budget Planner, or resume content in the Resume Builder) and, for a few design tools, images you added to that project. Files you process with converter-style tools (PDFs, photos, audio) are never part of any backup. You can turn backup off at any time, and the tool returns to storing work only on your device. Deleting your account deletes your backups.
The QR Customizer offers Premium members an opt-in scan-tracking feature. When you enable it for a QR code, we store the destination link you chose and a timestamp for each scan so you can see how often the code is scanned. When someone scans such a code, their device briefly contacts our redirect service to be forwarded to your destination; we store only the scan timestamp, never the scanner's identity, IP address, or device details.
When you rate a tool with the on-page star widget, we store the rating together with your account ID if you are signed in, or with your random anonymous analytics identifier if you are not.
